Campi ya Kanzi means "Camp of the Hidden Treasure" in Kiswahili. For you, it means "safari in style" at a luxury tented safari camp. The camp lies within a 400-square-mile Maasai private land in Southern Kenya, dominated by Mt. Kilimanjaro, just 35 miles away.
The Maasai are the landlords, making it one of the last unspoiled areas of Africa. Connecting three national parks (Chyulu, Tsavo and Amboseli), the property is home to a vast wildlife and birdlife population.
Campi ya Kanzi has two goals:
You will learn about Maasai lifestyle, about their land,
their culture. You will learn it through them, in the most
genuine way. Campi ya Kanzi is owned by the local Maasai
community: you will enjoy true ecotourism and play an active
role in the conservation of the land and of the Maasai
culture.
Dont forget that for every day you spend at Campi ya Kanzi, $30
conservation fee are set aside to assist the Maasai community
and to protect their wildlife.
We will tailor make the safari you like, according to your taste, abilities, desires. All will be personalized to your needs. You will feel like visiting a friends house, not a hotel for tourists.
