This is the best year to come: generous rains have transformed everything in a green paradise. Animals are thriving. We saw a pride of 20 lions next to camp just the other day. In the plains near the lake, we often see up to 100 elephants playing in the river. Everything is flowering and blooming: look at the baobab in this photo.
Our discounted offer is still valid: stay one week and get a 30% discount, paying $415 plus $100 conservation fee per person per day at Campi ya Kanzi, and $5,000 per day for Kanzi House (with room for 10), plus $200 conservation fee per person per day.

Nicola Tonolini is a dear friend of us and a great photographer. All the photos you see in here were taken by him. He is now offering photographic courses at Campi ya Kanzi.

Lucrezia and Cassiopea walking with elephants
We suggest to our guests staying a week at Campi ya Kanzi to include in their safari activities an excursion in Tsavo. We just experienced a new special one: fly to Tsavo East and spend a night on the Tiva River. This is one of the most untouched wilderness areas of Kenya. Bror Blixen was hunting here, helped by Beryl Markham who was spotting elephants from the air.
Today you can experience one of the most shining examples of conservation: the reintroduction of orphan elephants, by the David Sheldrick Trust. See here what a magical experience is being close to rescued elephants coming to drink at a pond (while the young ones still crave for some milk!)

Computers and Simba Project
Many thanks to Ari Ioannides for having donated 20 lap tops to our schools program. Here at the Kanzi Academy kids, in their Puma Maasai Marathon t-shirts, and their new computer room. Asante sana Ari!

And many many thanks to Ugo Gussalli Beretta for his constant support to our Simba Project. The Project not only protects lions, but all predators. Our cheetah population has benefited significantly from the Project. See here a nice family of six successfully hunting a thomson gazelle.
